Private medical facilities are now accepting new referrals, which means you will be able to use your plan to access eligible treatment. However, due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, there may be some disruptions to when and where private services are delivered.
Beyond these exceptional times, our private health insurance plan, Personal Health, offers prompt access to eligible health treatment, from seeing a specialist for diagnosis (when you choose an Out-patient option) to having a comfortable stay while you’re in hospital.
We’ll ensure that, once you have a GP referral, you can choose who to see and where to go, from a list of approved specialists and hospitals, making sure you get the treatment you need giving you the flexibility to manage your health around your lifestyle.

It also gives you the choice of when and where you want to be treated, and who you want to be responsible for your care.
