Now you can see a GP whenever you want, wherever you are, without the wait. AXA Doctor at Hand, powered by Doctor Care Anywhere, is the next chapter of personalised healthcare. GP appointments by video or by phone are just a few taps away - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.¹
All you need to do is download the AXA Doctor at Hand flyer and distribute it to your employees, so they have all the information they need about our service and how to use it whenever they need a GP.
Just book an appointment online or through the AXA Doctor at Hand app and you and your employees could be talking to a doctor within hours. You'll have up to 20 minutes to chat by video or phone from wherever's convenient for you.
AXA Doctor at Hand is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week (subject to appointment availability), so you'll always be able to fit your appointments in, even outside regular GP hours.
If you have cover for out-patient specialist consultations and diagnostic tests, and need to be referred to a specialist, the GP will pass details of your referral directly to us so we can authorise your consultation, source an appointment with an appropriate specialist, and book the consultation for a time and place that suits you. Depending on the level of cover you have chosen, out-patient limits may apply.²
Video or phone appointments are with fully qualified, experienced doctors, hand-picked by Doctor Care Anywhere. You can choose the doctor you want to see and get to know them, just like at your local practice.
If your team needs a reminder of their conversation with the doctor, a copy of their notes is uploaded directly to their patient record. Full medical notes can even be provided to their NHS GP to make sure everyone has a full picture.
Your employees can access this service from any location by video or by phone.
¹Appointments are subject to appointment availability and the Doctor Care Anywhere fair usage policy. Please see doctorcareanywhere.com/axamembership for details.
²If you don’t have cover for out-patient specialist consultations and diagnostic tests, any specialist referrals would need to be self-funded. All referrals and treatment recommended are on a private basis. The GPs are unable to refer to the NHS.
