      Employee Development

      AXA PPP healthcare looks to develop the skills and competencies of our people in a variety of innovative ways. Our learning and development offering covers traditional classroom based training through to eLearning with a great deal in between! All our staff have access to our in house career coaching service and are actively encouraged to broaden their horizons within our business.

      For our management community we run a management college which has been accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) as one of their ‘recognised providers’. This accolade is testament to the investment we make in our managers. We believe our managers are vital to our business – they alone can understand the unique needs of their team and help their people work towards our common business goals. So our management college supports managers to be the best they can with a range of courses throughout their career – it’s a development way of life.

      Development with a difference

      We also look to link personal development with Corporate Responsibility agenda, by giving employees the opportunity to get involved in things that stretch them. For example employees can use their business skills to benefit our community through volunteering.

      One such way is volunteering on our Work Inspiration programme which is a new approach to work experience aimed at ages 14 – 19. For our employees it offers the opportunity to develop and practice core skills such as mentoring, coaching and communication. For the students this structured programme introduces them to the reality of the workplace, helps them identify their future direction and allows them to evidence key employability skills.
