Canada Life chooses AXA PPP healthcare for employee support services

01 December 2016 - Canada Life Group Insurance has chosen AXA PPP healthcare to provide employee support services to its 2.7m insured employees in 23,500 employer-funded schemes.

The arrangement, providing free and confidential access to service users, takes effect from 1st January 2017 and will see AXA PPP healthcare delivering the following services:

  • EmployeeCare (an employee assistance programme – EAP – featuring a full range of work life support services, telephone, face to face and e-counselling)
  • Bereavement Counselling (helpline with telephone, face to face and e-counselling)
  • Probate Helpline (providing specialist access covering family disputes, validity of wills, power of attorney and obtaining probate)
  • Health Risk Assessment (for personal health risk management using the AXA PPP healthcare ‘Health Gateway’ platform and app)
  • BusinessCare (for online and telephonic support giving employers the tools they need to comply with employment law, follow best HR practice and trade safely to protect their businesses)
