We know that if your child needs treatment, the last thing you want is a complicated claiming process. That's why we've made it as simple as possible for you.
The GP will need to refer your child to a specialist before any necessary treatment can begin.
Call us before you see your specialist or arrange any treatment. We'll confirm the treatment is eligible and send you a claim form (if applicable).
If, following diagnosis, in-patient treatment, day-patient treatment or any surgical procedure is required we will need to establish that treatment is not available on the NHS within six weeks of the date on which the treatment should be undertaken.
Don't forget to take your child's claim form with you - they will complete this and send to us for payment.
We will confirm the eligibility of the treatment and advise how to proceed.
