It monitors blood pressure, temperature and blood oxygenation measurement by using special sensors designed to fit most hands and ear shapes. The handset is designed to be comfortable for long periods to ensure readings stabilise and the grip can be maintained by older people and people suffering from arthritis. It makes possible earlier hospital discharge and introduces a new way to provide long-term care of the elderly and vulnerable in their own homes.
