Whilst walking I get pins and needles in my legs particularly the left one. My legs feel as though I have no energy and eventually my left leg goes numb. I am a golfer so I am now struggling to walk the whole course as I am constantly requiring breaks to give my legs time to 'normalise' then carry on until the same thing occurs. I also have AXA insurance.
Causes of leg pain with activity can be circulatory where you have an inadequate blood supply to the affected leg, can also be joint related or can be nerve related where a nerve is being pinched by a disc out of place in the lower back. As this is a persistent problem I would suggest you see your GP for diagnosis and referral to the appropriate specialist. This would be a vascular surgeon for circulation or an orthopaedic specialist for joint and back issues. Specialist referral will depend on diagnosis.
