The answer

If you have been diagnosed with an oral cancer and this has not been treated either by surgery and/or radiotherapy we would suggest you follow up with your consultant as soon as possible. As if left untreated the cancer can spread and can affect more tissue in the mouth and lymph glands, which would lead to a more invasive surgery being needed. We would suggest seeing your doctor as soon as possible for assessment.
