Will massage therapy help my toe?
My job involves long hours on my feet. Recently my little toe has lost feeling coupled with shooting pains in the muscle next to my shin. Will massage therapy help?
The toe numbness if intermittent is possibly related to the pressure of standing for long periods, it can also be related to foot wear if this is tight, so this needs to be considered.
Shin pain can be caused by several things, inflammation being the more common cause. Massage therapy does help circulation but will have no effect on inflammation.
I would suggest you see your GP to check your circulation to ensure this is not the problem before planning any massage therapy.
