The answer

I am sorry to read that you are experiencing these symptoms and I would agree that you need to be seen as soon as possible in order to achieve a diagnosis and start on the correct treatment and pain relief. . In order to see a private consultant using your private medical insurance you would need to be referred by either your GP or an Accident and Emergency doctor, so if you are unable to see your GP on Monday you may want to consider attending the A&E department of your nearest hospital.
