Fractured my back

Hello, my name is Nicole. I am in my late teens and last year I badly fractured my back resulting in lots of nerve damage. It got better after an RF procedure. The pain is back and worse than ever. My neck and back feel like all the muscles are contracted and I have a throbbing headache. This morning I was disoriented and had to ask a friend what floor we were on and how I got there. I'm wondering how and if it is related at all.

The answer

The disorientation you felt may be related to your nerve damage or may well be unrelated so we would suggest  you see your doctor as soon as possible to assess this. The pain and muscle spasm should also be assessed also as indicative of change in your condition and ideally you should be referred back to your neurologist to look into this, it may be related to developing scar tissue or pressure on the nerves near your injury site, we do feel you should see your doctor as soon as possible as further testing may well be needed.
