My blood test results show my sodium level is low 131 & also the neutrophil count is slightly low. Please can you explain these results?
Unfortunately no one will be able to interpret these results except the doctor that ordered them. This is because one result does not stand alone; the results of all tests are read together. Medications and your current medical history will also be taken into account when analysing them. If your doctor feels the results are unusual for you they will call you in for a consultation. Alternatively make an appointment and ask your doctor to discuss the findings.
Please feel free to contact us again either by email or telephone (0800 003004) once you have spoken to your doctor and we will assist in clarifying any medical information that is discussed.
