Peripheral Neuropathy diagnosis...

Peripheral Neuropathy. Where can one find the latest/update on this problem? I was diagnosed with this many years ago and that was it! The only info received was that there is no cure.

The answer

The treatment of peripheral neuropathy remains primarily the same, treat the underlying cause of your neuropathy, whether this is diabetes, injury to the nerve pathway, viral infection, B12 deficiency or medication related. Managing pain caused by the peripheral neuropathy is the primary treatment and numerous drug therapies and combinations can be used plus managing any mobility issues that may arise from the neuropathy with use of physiotherapy and splints/ supports as needed. The web sites listed below have the most up to date information on managing peripheral neuropathy. Hopefully this will help you,
