I gave a blood sample in August for my annual cardiac check-up. Does this show up any problems with my prostate or do I need to have a PSA for this?

The Answer

You are quite right that cardiac screening does not include a Prostate check and you are right to ask if you should have a PSA level checked for this. If you would like your PSA tested then it would be sensible to have a chat with your GP and ask for this to be performed.
