I suffer from severe hay fever. After many years trying different medicines I have found that a combination of nasal sprays and Neoclarytin have reduced the symptoms.
My GP's practice will no longer prescribe Neoclarytin due to costs. Please can you advise whether this is available on private prescription?
I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulty obtaining a medication that seems to work for you.
Its availability on Private Prescription is very much dependent on the prescriber. I suggest that you see your current GP or seek out a private GP; to explain your circumstance and then write you a private prescription, or to suggest an alternative anthistamine.
I hope that is of some guidance to you.
