Hi, I have been doing a lot of travel lately and following one of the journeys I have picked up a sore neck and pain in the forehead. My GP won't give me an appointment. I have tried and have given up. Would it be possible to talk to a private GP over the phone or just visit a chiropractor? I just want to see someone and not be hampered because my GP won't help.

The Answer

There is always the option to attend a private General Practitioner or chiropractor however there will be a cost implication associated with this. Private general practitioners can be sourced on the internet using your postal code.

In the meantime I would like to direct you to a very helpful factsheet available from AXA PPP Healthcare outlining some of the self-help measures available and useful tips about managing neck pain and headaches.
