What’s The Difference Between Osteoarthritis And Crohn's Disease?

What is the difference between osteoarthritis and Crohn's related arthritis or joint pain?

11 July 2012

Osteoarthritis is essentially ‘wear and tear’ of the joints which we all get as we become older but some people unfortunately suffer from it to a greater extent than others. The arthritis associated with Crohn’s disease is an inflammatory arthritis, in other words the joints flare up for no particular reason. This requires different treatment and tends to be more complicated.
