Heavy aching feeling in my arm/shoulder.

I occasionally get a heavy aching feeling in my arm/shoulder. It generally goes off after a couple of minutes but I'm confused as to why I'm getting it. I am not on any medication although I am having my blood pressure monitored.

There are numerous conditions that can cause a heavy aching sensation in your arm and shoulder for a short period of time. Typically, aching feelings are linked to muscular strains, blood supply and nerve compression.

However, it would be sensible to err on the side of caution and contact your General Practitioner for further guidance and support, as he/she will be aware of your full medical history, including that regarding your blood pressure.
