A small pea sized lump does not sound too worrying, particularly if it has not grown in size over a few months. An example of something that it could be is a lipoma which is basically a fat filled lump. Lipomas are quite common and completely benign. I would get the lump examined by your doctor to confirm the diagnosis. Obviously any new lumps, or a lump that is growing in size could be a different matter altogether, and should be examined urgently.
