We appreciate how dizziness can be very debilitating to your husband’s day to day activities. Dizziness is a symptom that is shared by more than forty different medical conditions. Your General Practitioner has assessed your husband’s symptoms in relation to these many different medical conditions.
It would appear that your GP is focusing on the common following conditions that can present with dizziness in General Practice; labyrinthitis, vestibular neuronitis, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), vestibular migraine and Ménière's disease. We would suggest that you continue to keep the appointment with the GP as he/she may need to refine the present diagnosis.
