Our Editorial Policy

About our health and wellbeing content

Our health and wellbeing pages are written and reviewed by our team of authors (Meet them here). With the exception of work kindly contributed by our guest authors, they’re drawn from various teams within AXA Health, where their roles include delivering medical information, wellbeing coaching and other health services; and helping to drive policy, product, and service development, so that supporting better health remains our number one priority.

The content on our health and wellbeing pages is not intended to be a substitute for medical advice and it is not to be taken as clinical advice or any other form of advice under any circumstances. Nor should it be used to self-diagnose or recommend a course of treatment. If you have any questions or concerns about individual health matters or the management of health conditions, you should consult a qualified medical practitioner.

Please also be aware that the inclusion of information on a particular health topic, condition, or treatment method on our health and wellbeing pages does not indicate its eligibility for treatment under the terms of our healthcare plans. Healthcare cover is generally designed to cover you for the treatment of new medical conditions that begin after you take out a plan. It’s important to always check what’s covered and what’s not before purchasing any form of healthcare cover.
