I have been struggling with migrains for a number of years & tried everything. Nothing seems to help, there are no triggers to my migraines. Any advice or information would be great.

The answer

I am sorry to hear that you are suffering so badly from migraines. Unfortunately I do not know of a cure for them. As you are probably aware there are tablets that treat the headache once it has started, and tablets that are preventative medications (that you take daily) that stop the migraines from starting in the first place. The latter are reserved for people who suffer severely and frequently. Sometimes it means trying a few of these preventative medications before you find one that really works for you. Make sure you take care of yourself in general. Stick to a regular routine by going to bed and waking at the same time each day. Tiredness and stress are common cause of headaches.
