I need to build up my strength. What’s the best form of exercise for this?
The best exercise to build strength in known as Resistance training. This is simply where you use your muscles to resist against an exerted force. You can do this by using your own body’s weight for resistance, so to increase your lower body you should look at doing lunges or squats and, for your upper body, a great way of increasing your strength here is to perform press ups. Another great way of increasing your strength is to use weights in the gym, fixed machines are good as they naturally ensure you are in the correct posture or you can work out a little harder by using free weights to improve your strength, this will also naturally engage your core muscles to enable good stability and balance.
