The answer

Headaches can be caused by many things, but the most common cause are simple/tension headaches. They usually feel like a tight band or pressure feeling around both sides of the head, and start gradually and build up. They are relieved with simple painkillers such as paracetemol and are not serious. I wonder if your headache was triggered by being a bit dehydrated from all the exercise? A headache that comes on suddenly, or is severe and not stopped with paracetemol could be serious.
