The answer

Find an activity you like and fitness is not just in the gym, it can be anything that gets you up and moving, so find something you like from hula hooping to zumba. Less is more; research has found that shorter workouts can be just as effective as long ones, so 10 minutes can get you as fit as an hour − the key thing is to make sure you are training at the right intensity. You can do this by the ‘Talk Test’. If you can easily talk while exercising, this means you need to train harder − you are in the moderate zone. If you can talk but are unable to have a full conversation, this means you are working aerobically and in the ideal fitness zone. However, if you cannot talk, then this means you are training too hard and can ease back slightly.
