I suffer from CFS and I need to lose some weight.
I need to lose some weight and am finding it difficult to do as I work away from home for most of the week. I have to be careful of my exercising as I suffer from CFS, so this takes a back seat to work at the moment.
Firstly, by doing exercise, this will help reduce the symptoms of your Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and also aid in weight loss. Seeing as you work away a lot, pack your trainers and go for a walk, even for just 10 minutes, to explore; this will burn approximately 100 calories. Create a routine you can do in your room. Simply use a timer or the second hand on your watch and do each of the following exercises for 1 minute: march on the spot; lunges; standing knee lifts; circling your arms; and sit-ups. This routine takes only 5 minutes, burns approximately 50 calories, is low impact and needs no equipment. Repeat this 3 times and this 15 minute workout will burn up to 150 calories.
