I have very recently hurt my lower back whilst working in the garden. I understood that this was due to overdoing it. The pain is now accompanied by a constant headache across the front part of my head.

The answer

This is very unlikely to be anything to worry about. You are almost certainly correct in your assumption that the back pain is due to recent gardening, and the headache is unlikely to be connected. However, I think it is a good idea to see your GP just in case you are experiencing the symptoms of something unusual. He or she will be in a position to examine you and almost certainly reassure you and advise on pain relief.
