The answer

Many people believe in the beneficial effects of magnetic bracelets particularly in warding off joint problems and rheumatism. However, they are as yet medically unproven and therefore I am unable to explain either how, or even if, they work. If you feel they are beneficial then no doctor would stop you from using them but it may simply be a placebo effect rather than a real one.
