The answer

This is an excellent question. Basically a home reading blood pressure of 135/85 or less or a clinic (nurse or GP) reading of 140/90 or less is considered normal. If you are still uncertain your practice nurse of GP would be happy either to measure your blood pressure or, even better, look at a selection of home readings to tell you if your blood pressure is normal.
