The answer

The answer is that ibuprofen (an anti-inflammatory medication) has an effect on your blood pressure similar to salt.  We all know that salt has the effect of slightly raising the blood pressure and ibuprofen has a similar effect. If it's important that you take an anti-inflammatory you could ask your pharmacist or GP if you could take it for a short time.
