I have these little white spots on my foreskin.

I have these little white spots on my foreskin, they are painless but just there. I have had them since I first started puberty and I am 15 now.

The answer

Rows of tiny white pearly spots at the base of the sensitive end part of the penis called the glands are a normal variation but are often incorrectly mistaken to be penile warts. They are called 'pearly penile papules or 'hirsutoid papilomas' and are commonly more prominent in younger men.  The don't cause any harm but some individuals might feel they are unsightly. Although they can be easily removed by medical freezing treatments they are generally best left alone as it is likely they will diminish in size as you get older.
