The answer

It is very important to get checked out by your doctor, especially if there is any blood in the stools. There may be a simple explanation for the loose motions, such as an infection. There are more serious causes of diarrhoea that need to be excluded, such as inflammation of the bowel and even cancer. Your doctor needs to examine you thoroughly and do some tests to establish the cause. Only then can your doctor provide treatment according to what is found.
