The answer

Viral labyrinthitis causes dizziness, vertigo, balance loss and sometimes hearing loss. It is usually mild, gets better on its own after a few weeks and does not any cause permanent damage. Therefore it is not unsurprising that you are still suffering after 2 weeks. Most people fully recover from it, but unfortunately some people do suffer for longer. Occasionally it can cause persistent symptoms. Only time will tell. If your symptoms have not gone after 3-4 weeks, you should see your doctor again.
