The answer

You are correct in thinking that there are three main types of bladder cancer. What you have described is typical of the type of treatment available for bladder cancers. I am sorry that I cannot tell you exactly what type of cancer you had based on your treatment so far. You will be followed up regularly by your surgeon so that if the cancer returns, it can be dealt with quickly and effectively. Next time you visit the surgeon for your follow up appointment you can ask for more details.
