Employee Assistance Programmes from AXA ICAS

What is an Employee Assistance Programme?

Everyone knows that life has its ups and downs, and there are times when issues are difficult to handle and may appear in the workplace. During times of stress, financial worry or relationship breakdowns people often feel alone. With nobody to talk to, problems can become overwhelming. That’s where AXA ICAS can help.

Our sister company AXA ICAS form the health services arm of the AXA PPP healthcare Group. Their Employee Assistance Programmes provide a dedicated support team to help you and your employees cope with personal problems and face life’s challenges.

AXA ICAS' skilled consultants are experienced in addressing all sorts of issues and are able to support over the telephone or face-to-face, helping both managers and their employees. Whatever the issue, they are there when you need them most.

For employees:

  • Telephone counselling. Our counsellors are on hand 24 hours a day to provide impartial and sensitive support, whatever the problem.
  • Face-to-face counselling. Sometimes face-to-face counselling is beneficial and sessions with a highly trained counsellor can be arranged at a location and time that is convenient for your employee.
  • Practical day to day support – through the LifeManagement™ service AXA ICAS offer access to a team of highly skilled consultants who are trained in helping you deal with everyday issues such as debt management, relationship and legal concerns.
  • Online programmes. A range of online support programmes offering practical guidance on work-life and wellbeing topics.

For managers:

  • Supervisory support.  AXA ICAS consultants can help you approach difficult situations, such as redundancy or alleged bullying, through our dedicated support line.  By discussing or role-playing a conversation, they can help you prepare for the toughest of challenges.
  • Guidance. Guidance amd support is available when you need it most on sensitive subjects such as referring employees for counselling.
  • Promotional support. AXA ICAS provide a range of promotional materials to help you increase awareness of the services among your employees and encourage them to use the support offered to help keep your business running smoothly.
