Our Dedicated Nurse Service for cancer patients

This provides a consistent point of contact – an experienced qualified nurse – someone who you can talk to about your condition or discuss any concerns you may have about your treatment.

The support and reassurance our Dedicated Nurses provide can be a big comfort at what is commonly a difficult time, as the initial shock of being diagnosed with heart disease or cancer often makes it hard for patients to take in what they’re being told.

Health at Hand - our 24 hour health information service

There are times when you might need information and help about certain aspects of your health. If so, as a member, our Health at Hand service is there to support you.

Health at Hand is our telephone based health information service available to members 24 hours a day. So if you need to talk to a professional about medication you have been prescribed, for example, or if you’ve been diagnosed with a condition and want to know more about it, there’s someone available for you, who can give you as much time as you need. You can even call them if you’re out of the country and need help finding a hospital or an English speaking doctor
