How do I change my address?
For data protection reasons, we must ask for this in writing. We can accept this by email, fax (fax number: 01892 612937) or letter and would ask that you either use the change of details form or include the details requested in your email.
How do I change my bank account details?
For data protection reasons, we must ask for this in writing.
Please either complete the change of details form or send us your amended details on headed letter-paper. Please note that we require your signature in order to make this change and as such we are unable to accept any change of bank details via email or over the telephone.
Why are you not offering recognition for benefit purposes to individual Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and Chiropractors?
We believe that we already have sufficient individual Physiotherapy, Osteopathic & Chiropractic provision throughout the U.K. for our members' needs although we do continue to monitor the situation.
We are considering some clinics for recognition; please contact us by email if you wish to express an interest in a formal clinic agreement.
Is it possible to register my clinic with AXA PPP healthcare?
We are able to consider both individual and group practice recognition for certain practitioners. If you are a group of physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors or any combination of these, please contact us by email to express an interest in a formal clinic agreement - we will then consider your proposal and contact you to discuss this further.
Please note that we are not currently able to offer group agreements for any other practitioners.
What do I do if my speciality is not listed as one of the application forms available to complete?
If your specialty is not listed within our recognition criteria e.g. chiropody, it is likely that your services are not eligible for benefit under the terms of our members' policies. As such, recognition status cannot be considered.
What happens if I no longer meet your criteria for recognition?
Our membership agreements state that our members must be treated by specialists or practitioners who are recognised with us for benefit purposes. If your circumstances change and you no longer meet our recognition criteria, we will write to you to advise that you are no longer recognised with us. We will also ask you to ensure that your patients are aware of your change in recognition status and that you assist them in transferring to an alternate provider.
How do I invoice you?
Please refer to our submission of claims section.
What should my invoice include?
Please refer to our submission of claims section.
How long will it take to process my application?
On receipt of your fully completed application form we will endeavour to process it within 3-5 working days and will write to you with the outcome. If your forms are incomplete they will be returned to you.
I am with the BACP and not the BABCP, why can I not be recognised with you for benefit purposes?
Our members’ policies provide benefit for CBT treatment only. Therefore to limit the risk to our members of seeing practitioners who may provide services that are not eligible under the terms of our policies, we have chosen to specify BABCP accreditation as part of the recognition criteria.
If I cannot find my question answered, how and when can I contact you?
