Heart conditions

Arthritic joint replacement
Replacement of an arthritic joint, such as a hip or knee, may transform a person's life. This plan also provides early access to diagnosis and treatment to set you on the road to recovery as quickly as possible.

Inguinal hernias and cataracts
As we get older, these conditions become increasingly common and can seriously impair your quality of life. With Retirement Essentials, you'll receive prompt access to treatment for an inguinal hernia, cataract or other eye condition.

Consultations and diagnostic tests
Consultations and diagnostic test related to the conditions listed above are covered up to £500 per year.

Physiotherapy and cover for complications
Access to treatment doesn't stop once the operation is over. If you require a course of physiotherapy to help speed your recovery following eligible treatment, this is covered by your plan. And, should a post-operative complication arise, its treatment would also be covered.
